Each year nearly 18,000 children and adults suffer a spinal cord injury in the U.S. In addition to the physical, mental, and emotional trauma, they and their families also have to endure sky-high medical and care-related bills. It’s estimated that families can expect to pay close to $1 million in the first year alone based on the level of injury. And, monthly expenses for basic needs balloon to upwards of $2500 per month! This doesn’t include food and shelter.

We’re here to help ease the financial burden that creates unnecessary worry and stress, so that our grant members and their families can focus on healing, support, and adjusting to a new way of life.
